I've known ResponseTap for some years prior to joining and have watched them grow from a small start up, to an award winning global business. Now working for for the business I can see why they have had such a success and this is down to the dedication, drive and passion of the employees within the company. The culture here is exceptional. They have taken a lot time and spent a lot of money in creating a superb working environment which is a joy to work in, somewhere you don't mind staying and putting in the extra hours when required. Since joining they have provided me with the autonomy to make my own decisions and have given me the support if and when i need it. The management structure works well, though as a growing business we do experience growing pains, but they don't dictate, they ask for your ideas, suggestions and thoughts and are open and honest on their plans and decisions made.

Of course there are Cons working for a growing business, if you're commercially aware you'll understand why these exist and won't be there forever. Internal communication can be an issue but with the introduction of Yammer, hopefully this will now improve. Additionally plans can change a lot which does result in wasted time on particular projects, but again, they will try and use as much of the resource already spent on the new plan. Having the senior management in the office more will help keep the plans transparent.

By far the strongest on boarding process that I've had the opportunity to work with. The team brought me from 0 - 100 in two weeks time. As a sales executive, you need a deep knowledge of the technology and value positions a product offers. This is an absolute must to gain the confidence needed to bring a product to market. I feel the team did an amazing job covering this key component. While the introductory period was intense, it did also allow for the new U.S. team the opportunity to cement relationships with key contacts within the organization so we can hit the ground running.
