Ripple is a leader in the field of neural interface electronics. The work is challenging and impactful and employees get wide latitude to contribute design ideas and structure their time as they see fit to accomplish their work. As a software engineer at Ripple I was responsible for architecting and implementing much of the graphical interface front end for their line of neuroscience research products. I found it exciting to own projects from the ground up and work on interdisciplinary teams with highly skilled hardware engineers.

Ripple is ambitious and demands a lot of its employees. As a young company, resources are tight and priorities can shift as the company pivots to take advantage of new opportunities. This is definitely not your standard plug and play software job.

Pay an benefits are excellent. Some co-workers are creative and dedicated and great to work with, but choose wisely.

The new "management" answers to nobody and does not keep promises. Fancy presentations on company visions but "management" has no discipline or determination to follow through. "Management" has no structure or foresight. The integrity, ethics and honesty of "management" is questionable. Not sure how long the place will last. If you question the "management" or an engineer you are most likely to be fired.
