The role itself is a great mix between technically qualifying cases for the experts, connecting them to attorneys and also attending events, office meetings, and happy hours to help develop your area and create new opportunities. In the same breath, Robson gives it's BD team the ability to travel often with a generous expense account and a nice commission structure for the cases you are able to bring into the firm. One of Robson's best qualities however, is the ability to speak and interact with high level management (c-level included) and have ideas heard and actually considered. It isn't unusual to hear from our CEO via email or call once a month - very engaged management who truly care about the success of the firm and their employees.

Downsides of Robson are mostly attributed to low agility, their ability to change and pivot into new opportunities is lacking and can be frustrating. If you don't like to travel this job may be a challenge. They are also behind the curve in terms of technology.
