Pluspunten
We have spent the last few years reorganizing and reprioritizing the company for long term success. Change is never easy but it's been critical and I believe was a very smart move. Now we have exciting direction from the top down and we're building the teams in order to execute against that direction. I *like* the people I work with. There are few egos, fewer than I've seen at tech companies in a long while. Everyone comes to the table with a level of understanding and respect that we're all here to achieve the same goal. We have an executive leadership team that really, truly cares about us as people, not assets. Including flexible work (remote, flexible hours to account for family responsibilities, etc), good benefits, etc Rocket seems to be serious about IDE (inclusion, diversity, equity). The last 3 c-level hires were either female, POC, or both. I've seen more inclusive community activities, as well as some leadership programs targeted to unrepresented groups.
Minpunten
The change over the last few years was a struggle at times but I see it settling down in 2022 into something less in flux. There's a lot of work to do and we have open recs but I worry we aren't hiring fast enough.
