Pluspunten

The work is pretty easy and mindless about 90% of the time in the call center.

Minpunten

If you do claw your way out of the call center, you are first on the chopping block when they do lay offs which is very often. The supervisors are useless on the off chance they respond to you. It is all about keeping the clients happy and they do not care about the employees or the members they service.

Interesting work Decent benefits Some good people working there depending on department

Minpunten

Company has a very high turnover rate in upper management and C-Suite executives. I’d say within 2-3y there has been like 4 different changes in management, with each one making majorly disruptive changes in the workforce. They handle it very poorly with little to no communication. We changed CTOs several times and it was never communicated clearly with teams, you’d just realize the person formerly in charge was no longer there. Although the benefits are decent, the salaries are significantly under market and industry standards. Healthcare technology is among one of the highest paying industries within tech and given they operate in major metropolitan areas, the salaries are around 40-50% under average rates, even compared to industries with lower salary standards. They are alarmingly not well regulated despite working with sensitive information. Too many people are granted access to raw patient data and often recorded in meetings sharing their screens with patient data on display. Although workforce changes in tech are to be expected, the way the company handles it is very disorganized and almost always abrupt. They have done 3 separate layoffs within the past year, one of which a majority of entire departments were wiped out. You would think that the poor client relationships the company has would encourage them to retain top talent but that is not the case, and I have seen them lose major contracts due to poor quality products. The company is currently undergoing ANOTHER change in management with an expected push to utilize AI. Management encourages the use of AI and oftentimes are using it themselves. There have been countless occurrences where management uses AI to do some sort of investigative task that ends up being completely wrong, confusing teams and wasting hours in meetings that wind up being useless. I expect that the company is doing poorly financially which has probably been the driving force in all the repeated workforce reductions. It makes a lot of sense as many of the clients they try to solicit business with end up falling through. They are gaining a bad reputation in the niche market they operate in which is a shame as there are a lot of talented people still working for the company but a majority of the best ones have already exited on their own terms.
