The reason for leaving was 100% the manager I had to report to. This individual gave zero guidance, put zero effort in to getting to know their employees, learning about them, etc. It was a generally cold atmosphere, unfortunately. This wasn't what I was sold when I took the job and I wasn't about to sit around and let it happen. I think I would have been happier in a different role under different management, but that wasn't an option, so I left.
