Didn't get anything good out of this start-up company other than getting paid for the job that I was required to get done.

Management: Upper Management has a clear lack of organizational skills, and specifically the VP of Engineering consistently exhibit traits like lack of self-awareness, lack of empathy, excessive self-interest, inconsistent behavior, micromanaging, and not genuinely care about some employees, where favoritism towards other employees is obvious. Company seems to have a high turnover rate of employees, where is structured in a way with no careers growth will be limited to some some engineers. Note: They claim to be a familiy oriented company, so I will warn any candidate to raise concerns since this is not an ideal environment to be in. Human Resources: The company claims to have an HR department and representative, but the functions of what HR is supposed to do for the employees are completely absent. HR won't advocate for other employees and she is controlled by what the VP will tell them to do. All in all, this is not a place where you're going to feel your work is valued and the likelihood of starting to look for another job within the first six months is very high.
