It used to be a decent job for attending college while earning income at a flexible job, but budget cuts are on the horizon, and the city is looking for any excuse to axe part-time positions.

Minpunten

Stressful due to restructuring, poor management, constant shifting of blame, zero accountability from management, and part-time are second class employees in the eyes of the city and higher ups

Great for part-time work if you're going to school and need side income and fairly flexible hours

Unless you have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science you will not be able to advance beyond a part-time position
