Pluspunten
The overall company culture is superb, and the atmosphere is energetic and positive. If you want your "desk job" to be fast-paced and lively then this company is a good fit. In my experience, everyone looks to give advice and help out when someone encounters new territory in their job, and one is rarely left to figure something out with no assistance or strong guidance. You get exposure to a lot of challenging things and are tasked with a lot of responsibility for a first job. The company is also very involved in the community, so it is really easy to find ways to volunteer, attend local events, etc.
Minpunten
The compensation is borderline non-competitive. When you find promotional opportunities, the pay increases are so minimal that moving up is almost not worth the increased workload/stress. This leads to a lack of motivation, because employees who are doing the minimum to get by are rewarded the same as those who are bright, talented, putting in extra time, etc. In my department, micromanagement makes for disgruntled analysts. Relative to other departments within the company (sales, product management) morale is low and attrition is high, but management doesn't make fixing these issues a priority.
