Company hired workers on the promise of remote work. I worked remotely for 4 years and when the decision was made to make everyone come in person, we were told we could either commute 2-6 hours each way (depending on our current home location), move to Ormond Beach or we would not have a job. It only mattered that they decided it would improve morale and slow down staff turnover if they forced us all in-person. Raises have dropped dramatically over the last 4 years, with many high-performing staff being denied raises this year, even as the C-Suite execs bragged about having one of their most profitable years ever. People who DID receive raises received 1-2% raises. Management of staff legal was extremely toxic, with management harassing anyone they didn't like, including calling staff's previous employers after they had been working at Security First for years seeking out scuttlebutt and gossip to spread. When concerns were elevated to HR, retaliation was wide-spread and unchecked.
