Note from Joe (CEO): We are against micromanagement, and anyone who needs micromanagement in order to do well is not going to make it at SelfDecode long term. I assume the review is by someone who we felt wasn't very productive and required micromanagement to do well, and therefore was probably let go as a result. We did have a junior data engineer who fit this description, and we didn't think he was a good fit for our organization for that reason. The organization is very opposed to micromanagement and we expect people to be able to work somewhat autonomously.
