Pluspunten

Great facility, amazing OVERALL company culture (non finance departments), cool products, innovative company, "decent" benefits, great maternity leave, amazing mother rooms

Minpunten

This review is based on the state of the company at my departure. I once loved ServiceNow and while I still love the company, Finance has taken a downward spiral. There is new leadership in charge of Accounting/Payroll/SEC/Revenue and that leadership views people as "wasted spend"; they laid off the entire Amsterdam team and expect the HQ team to absorb all that work, it was communicated that you should expect long hours, and if you werent ok with that, you should leave; they pay far below market on base salaries and the pay discrepancy between people is unbelievable. They are slowly outsourcing all of accounting to India and I would expect the rest of finance to follow...this is not a ship to join unless you like working long hours and like working for narcissists and apathetic leaders.

Pluspunten

ServiceNow had a differentiated platform and products. Early on the culture had a startup energy that was rare for a company this size collaborative teams, ownership, and a sense that people actually cared about outcomes. Working with large enterprise customers on complex workflows was interesting work.

Minpunten

The ServiceNow I joined was a different company. As headcount increased, so did the bureaucracy, layers, and friction that rewarded politics over execution. The layoffs of the last few years were handled poorly little transparency, inconsistent communication, and decisions that felt made far above with little thought for the people affected. The "cost optimization" messaging rang hollow against continued executive spending. For a company that sells workflow and people process tools, the irony of a chaotic RIF wasn't lost on anyone in the field or on customers. Leadership political dynamics were real. The right team, the right manager you had cover. Performance alone didn't protect you.
