Pluspunten
Tasks are easy to learn, but extremely repetitive. You don’t have to think too hard and work is already done once you become more experienced. This job can be great if you have a good team and a good manager.
Managers are flexible if you communicate with them, but it really just depends on the person. A manager can be really great in one department, but another can be terrible at managing other departments. I’d say the benefits are okay, not the greatest, but still pretty decent.
People are nice, keep to their selves.
Minpunten
In the coating department, you work with chemicals that are not good to inhale because they can cause cancer. They don’t have proper ventilation, however they are working to fix that and make things easier for employees, but it’s gonna take a little while for that to happen. 1st shift is scheduled 5am-1pm, but because of mandatory overtime, you always come in at 4am (it gets brutal sometimes). Overtime on weekends is heavily dependent on whether the wip is high or not. Sometimes you can get out of overtime if you communicate with managers.
Turnover rate is high so expect to be short staffed and working weekends every now and then.
Upper management politics is frustrating.
Pay doesn’t feel rewarding.
