Pluspunten

Excellent people, incl. management who seem to genuinely care about employees. High trust organisation where employees are treated as adults who can be relied on to make good decisions. Company seems to have a very good culture (can't speak for other regions, but certainly in Auckland).

Minpunten

The constant internal marketing about our values gets a bit tiresome, especially considering the culture is already so awesome and it's the behavior and actions that count, not the marketing of such. Seems to be a high turn-over of staff which I believe is due to the lack of a clear and easily defined development pathway - there are such pathways, but they're just not readily apparent, especially at the lower level roles.

We're so proud of the culture we all cultivate and nurture through sincerity and authenticity in each of our divisions and collectively as a global business. In regard to our values, we appreciate you living and breathing those with us every day, and the reason we market them so heavily is due to constantly having new folks joining the business given our current scaling, and to provide a foundation for our teams to understand what drives us to make business decisions and to empower our people. I guess you could say that we're just so proud of who we are and what we do! We also hear you loud and clear about creating greater structure and career development, which is why we're bringing in designated L&D Trainers to each division and are currently hard at work building out career paths, which requires tremendous planning, forecasting, and at times restrategizing. That hard work and diligent strategizing are more than worth it though to keep our teams engaged, happy and thriving. Thanks again for your feedback!

I genuinely do not have a single negative thing to say about my time at Simpro. Every company has busy days, but when you are backed by a leadership team that actually cares about your well-being and a community of colleagues who always have your back, the typical corporate "cons" simply don't exist.
