This culture has led to the unfortunate situation where key individuals, who played a pivotal role in establishing Sixt's presence in India, have been laid off due to internal politics. The senior leadership team in India often appears corrupt, with many managers being appointed based on their loyalty rather than their skills or qualifications. They tend to bring in former associates who share their approach, thus perpetuating this cycle. Moreover, it appears that the HR teams are more focused on posting positive reviews on Glassdoor rather than addressing the core issues. Additionally, it has been observed that in anonymous feedback, managers can directly identify how they have been rated by employees, leading to potential political retaliation. This is the reality of Sixt R&D in India.
