      i wish i can provide a pro list , but the only reason i stay where i work is because i love to cut hair

      I have worked for the company for four years now , my biggest complaint would have to be management , and sales pushing . i love my job but 90% of the time i feel like i have to sell my soul in order to earn a decent living . it also feels like youre back in highschool with all the drama that happens around you.

      I appreciate your feedback and time at Sport Clips. It saddens me to hear that you are not enjoying where you work. That is a difficult thing to do day after day. I hope you will consider speaking to your store owner about your frustration. It is not an easy conversation, but has the potential to be life altering! Ether it goes well and your day to day improves or you will know if it is time to part ways. We certainly want what is best for you and I know your store owners will want the opportunity to address your concerns and help you!

      Bonusing, fun family culture, award ceremonies, fun prizes, fun parties, feel appreciated, steady client flow, reliable paycheck potential, paid trainings, no chemical services, flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, established brand.

      Minpunten

      Fast paced, mostly men and boys, stand all day, pressure around productivity, income varies, working weekends, holidays and evenings.

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Minpunten

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
