Lack of respect for the routing department even though it's the "heart" of the company. No matter what you cut it usually always gets "lost" especially in the (Channel letters and electrical department)which In other words... it got used for another job and they lie and do this on a daily bases which wastes the programmers time and the router guys time to recut even with pictures and material issued so basically it's inefficient. Management doesn't care and would not discipline the people using parts for other jobs only the routing department gets all the heat. Also accidently breaking a bit is a pain because the programmer acts like it's coming out of their pocket and basically insults your knowledge before giving you a bit. So be ready for people at the company to insult your intelligence no matter how good of a router operator you are. They don't have updated employee handbooks. Which last i checked was from the previous company Icon and last updated in 2016 which is confusing as you don't know what current polices to follow . The router tables work and cut but are not well maintained such as is needs new bearings and new tracks. The tracks are basically held together by duck tape. No lie. Be ready to be ignored when the routers not working right and you've done told everyone who needs to know from maintenance to the plant manager. ruined a $500 sheet of Bank of America ACM because they refuse to listen and fix the big router. They will hire people with no previous experience with more of a pay than you and an added sign on bonus.
