While the benefits are still under GE for now, they're great. Very family like atmosphere. Colleagues, managers and HR all truly care for you as a person, and will work with you as best as they can to help you overcome obstacles and to accommodate personal life matters.

Minpunten

As the company is making the full transition from GE Capital to Synchrony Financial, we are all guinea pigs. From an operations perspective, this is damaging on many levels to company reputation, customer relations, and employee morale and well being. Turnover is astronomical, and the pay is unbelievably abysmal for what is expected. Micro managed like I have never experienced in my life.

The systems constantly lag and freeze, making an already stressful job even harder. You’re expected to handle the work of multiple roles while meeting unrealistic metrics and learning countless procedures. Calls are often back-to-back, and the two-minute breaks during busy times aren’t enough to recharge. Dealing with verbally abusive customers is common, and you’re required to give multiple warnings before ending a call. While there are opportunities to move into other roles, promotions often feel more dependent on who you know than your actual skills or performance. Overall, it’s a mentally exhausting, high-stress environment.
