After the leave of the top qualified stuff, it is a very bad environment, in addition to very bad legacy C++ code that you must struggle with it. Will never be a permanent comfortable place for you, They will give you the money you need as they think you are doing a super job, at one moment they will get ride of you to get fresh graduate with low salaries, That happened to five employees that I know.
