living in lisbon while being hosted by the company in one of the numerous teleperformance flat in the city...but be aware: if you're hosted within 15 min of the campus, you're REALLY LUCKY! In most casses, their flats are located minimum 50 minute away of the main campus, add to that the traffic etc...

Almost impossible to change flat if you're located in a bad area or really poorly served by public transport. The staff at the apartment service are just totally unfriendly. They won't help you at all and most of time talk to you without any consideration. There is no management culture, salary discrimination based on country of origin is a reality ! A german will makes more than a french for the same job....yeah! what you've been told at the phone at the begining of recruitement process is 50 pourcent lies! -You get effectiviley picked up at the airport, but in 90 pourcent of cases, with big delays, I had to wait 45 minutes, and I considered myself lucky when I heared what happened for others: who had to wait 2 hours in the best scenario (when landing at 22 pm....) and others never had the chance to get picked up! They had to join their flat by themselves... Imagine if they were located on the other "side of the bridge" in almada? On microsoft sales program, you're not suposed to work on weekend that's what you will be told at the phone , and work from 9 to 18 pm monday to friday. But at the end of the training, they make you sign a contract in Portuguese language stating that this is going to change in the near futur... (The guy at the phone told me I'll get all my weekend !)in fact hr recruiter are getting bonuses on every recruit that stay at least two month in the company so many times they will sale you dream! If a candidate is undergoing a disciplinary procedure during the training session (it was my case unfortunately) , dont expect the rules of the "fair trial " to be respected! They wont give you the opportunity to defend your cause and present your arguments! and obviously, they wont pay you for the month of training that you attended at your own cost....Just based on what a manager will tell to the HR DEPARTMENT. I quited teleperformance in october 2018 after the training that I had to leave for security reasons, they said it was a behavioural fault (running away from a starting fire in the classroom...) no other solutions were proposed to me and of course since then, they never paid me for the month I attended the training. Some of my former mates used to miss days of training, even left the classroom for no other reason except than being pissed off by the poor quality of the training provided, by knocking the door at the supervisor.. They're still in the company... Double standard.... This company culture: if you want to progress with them, be friend and go smoke with the managers, accept your fate, and sink your depresssion like the great majority of the employees, drinking cheap superbock beers in front of the main teleperformance building in Campo grande! Dont question things! Just Don't! ps: if you're being ejected of the company, they will give you 2 days to leave the flat, yeah two days, now if you're lucky you'll get a descent price for the flight back to your home country. But what if ryan air raises the prices in this period ? Are you willing to pay 200 e for a flight to go back home after an unjustified decision of the management based only on one point of view, while in the end, you were the only victim here?
