1. Goals and performance measures are not well-defined. As a result, misguided staff headed down the wrong path, only to be discovered and covered up later on. 2. Office politics is rampant - at times HR adds fuel to the fire too 3. Management seems disconnected from the ground. Stories shared by corporate comm does not reflect the real sentiments on the ground.

Interviewed with 4 people for a senior buyer position and was offered the job. Prior to accepting I emphasized numerous times that I have children and need to work specific hours. They agreed to my hours, Brittany the lead buyer: “yes, those hours are totally fine, Patrick her boss, “he has a daughter so we’re totally flexible when it comes to family and personal life” Mind you I’m going in as a contractor vs perm. So my hours should be flexible to begin with. Days before my orientation they give me recruiters a hard time for my hours that they approved and contractually signed on for.
