Unprofessional culture - Senior Executive(s)/Chairman are inappropriate in language and behavior on stage at company/family events and town halls. Naivety + arrogance at the top is killing the company. Constantly changing strategy, direction - drives continuous reorg and retrenchment. Culture of entrenched silos, politics, protectionism. Averse to change and risk, stuck in outdated thinking, silence new ideas . Top execs reward and promote long service, loyalty, and blind allegiance over competence; many smart and strong minded employees leave frustrated, or the organization pushes them out. Diversity and inclusion non-existent, and led by top exec behaviors; cannot be solved with an HR program or task force.
