Managers manipulate the internal performance rating including the changing the standardized KPI measures. many of the internal technical trainings including "Airlifts" are more and more about who knows whom and present within these sessions. There are stiff competitions internally between different teams. Even if company has moved from hardware business, current GTM team functions like hardware/IT sales.
