      The staff are incredible and a delight to work with. Every employee at TLC is a morally sound individual who genuinely cares about the mission of Indigenous language work and the betterment of Indigenous communities.

      Minpunten

      Many company decisions are made at the whims of the CEO without regard for suggestions or advice from other departments, and the CEO seems largely driven by personal success and posterity, rather than the mission of the company.

      Direct contact with linguistics experts and other professionals. You get to work with real-world data from current projects. Your co-workers and bosses are friendly and approachable. Low stress environment where questions are encouraged. Everyone is there because they believe in the mission of TLC. Strong sense of community within the office.

      Minpunten

      A small company environment may not suite everyone. The assignments may be long, repetitive tasks. Depending on your assigned work, your social interaction with others may be limited at times.

      There is a very kind and supportive atmosphere for employees. You will have a chance to gather a lot of experience.

      Since the beginning of 2024, management has changed which significantly improved working conditions. Unfortunately, being a non-profit sometimes comes with financial strain.
