Pluspunten
Some great nurses work there, weekend pay (union) is top notch. Some excellent specialists. Although the definite minority, some doctors are excellent.
Minpunten
No communication between departments. Orders go in and nobody tells you why, you have to search the record to uncover reasoning many times. Pts want to know why changes are happening. Too many hands in the pot, interns write orders. You implement, then they are changed or dc'ed constantly t/o the day by attending or resident. Lot of AMA's bc many interns and residents won't call attending but don't feel comfortable DCing pts. Little or no accountability from other departments for delays in care. Nurses spend too much time trying to get doctors or other departments to do their jobs.
