Pluspunten
- Flexible scheduling One of the best elements of working with Tutor.com is the fact that when you work is completely at your discretion so long as you meet the weekly minimum. - Consistently respectful students The service works in such a way that the vast majority of students I've tutored are engaged, polite and ready to learn. There are outliers, and sometimes they can be exceptionally trying. Still, the service provides safeguards to ensure you have some recourse against disrespectful students.
Minpunten
- Feedback schedule Once leaving the probationary period, tutors receive feedback every 6 weeks (at best). More experienced educators may prefer this, but it can be a bit disorienting for people newer to the field. - Second job only The service is intended to provide second jobs and supplementary incomes to its tutors. That works well enough, but there seems to be little real advancement available beyond a higher hourly rate and optional mentor duties.
