I have worked via this site for 5 years and over that time the overheads have increased from 20% of fees to over 50%. This has been done unilaterally without discussion. The site allows students to book lessons without consultation whereas many tutors like myself want control of the booking process to allow proper time management and to ensure only students you think are appropriate to your skill set take up time slots.. If you cancel a student booked lesson the site now blocks your profile for 10 days. The site no longer notifies you of contacts from new students and penalises you if you are slow to respond. The overall impression is of an organisation obsessed with revenue and its own interests rather than acting as a support to its tutors despite the increasingly high overhead burden they impose.
