Pluspunten

Being balanced, this is a great office. Chill out lounge is cool, who doesn't want a gym at work? Plus enthusiastic and energetic trainers to motivate you. I made a few friends for life here.

Minpunten

I don't know who's behind all of the "Don't believe all the negative lies" posts that seem to be multiplying lately, whether it's Lawrence himself or his PR team. But your "fake reviews" insistence smacks of Donald Trump's "fake news" campaign, which as we know is designed to discredit dissenting voices. People will disagree with you and there are people who didn't leave your company with good feelings about it. Don't undermine their experience by writing passive aggressive jibes like "this is hilarious". Spend less time being self obsessed and defensive and more time being honest with yourself about what these people are saying. You say you're keen on people learning and developing but you take criticism very badly indeed. Listen better and maybe you can change the things people get upset about. Result - fewer negative reviews.

Thanks for your comments. Over the years we have made countless changes based on the feedback given to us by existing and departing team mates. In fact - all of the things you site as pros above from the gym to the teachers in our training centre are a part of UKFast because people have told us where we have lacked in the past and what they think we should do in the future. More products and services than you will realise have been launched because ideas and feedback from the people dealing with customers every day have been listened to and acted upon. And this has not always come through in the form of positive engagement - often it has been shared in frustration - but always it has been listened to by Lawrence and others in order to improve UKFast. It's disappointing that you choose to believe all the negative you read on here and disbelieve the positive. This may say more about your own personal feelings than anything else but it also suggests that you have more feedback that we can learn from. Pluspunten

Culture on the tech side is quite good. Free drinks at the bar. If you wanted, you could probably stay a long time here if you were happy as you are.

Minpunten

Non-tech teams were extremely cliquey and were incredibly target-driven, resulting in lots of missold systems totally inappropriate for customers. They are also very reluctant to talk to the engineers so these issues aren't ever corrected. Limited progression opportunities despite their advertising - the certificates that are paid for is true (as long as you continue working there another 12 months), but getting them approved can take a long time, if ever, as they seem to only approve the cheaper certificates and make you very slowly build up, rather than going something more appropriate for your level of competence.

Great, friendly people for the most part. Made some good friends in my time at the company. Onsite gym, onsite bar, beer friday (don't know if this still happens)

Terrible pay, bad tech stack, no clear progression routes
