Most markets, the demand has far exceeded the supply and thus customers are being driven to the competition. No raises whatsoever for outside sales staff. Been in the position for 6 years and have never received a pay increase, while my commissions have decreased yoy. Hiring trends have visibly shifted to a younger inexperienced group of candidates. You will have to sign a non compete, so going to a different company is out of the question. Very little upward mobility
