Pluspunten
Given a substantial amount of sick time, PTO time, and floating holidays. There is a incentive plan in place if you reach contract and conversion goal you can get paid out every 3 months. If you spend enough time here and meet your metrics you can have opportunities for growth in other departments of the company.
Minpunten
I specifically worked at the Corporate National Call Center in Charlotte, NC. To start off the recruiters that hire you on for this role do not give you a good description of what the job entails. You think you are going into a sales job but it’s really just taking orders from customers. You are receiving incoming calls all day from customers that are either personal renters or companies, and they could be anywhere in the US or Canada. The training given does not prepare you for the calls you will get. Also, there is no consistent coaching and training to improve throughout your time there. They wait until you are doing poorly and then want to help. All branches have full autonomy whereas we have strict guidelines and processes that we have to follow. Also, the center has to work all major holidays but you are given more time that you can use to take off, but than that counts against you because if you don’t reach your sales goals it’s all on you. There is favoritism amongst employees and the micro managing here is overbearing. There is also a cap on the amount of money you can make from your “sales”. You are lucky if you make 35K a year. Some of the supervisors here are great but upper management is not willing to adapt.
