Pluspunten
Most of the people there are very friendly. Monthly social events are nice, but they don't pay the bills. The anual holiday party is really fun. They do pay for the entire bank to have lunch monthly. Employer match on retirement and 3 weeks of PTO to start is nice. Regular opportunities to volunteer company sponsored events in exchange for additional PTO.
Minpunten
Lower pay for the position compared to other companies, poor quality of health insurance, ceo-to-worker pay ratio. Upper management seems to consider being understaffed as full staff. The they're very stingy around review time and hate giving raises. CEO even stated at the town hall that no body will ever get fives on their review. Top management, though most of them seem like nice people, are very disconnected from the financial struggles of their employees. Constantly feel undervalued.
Upper management constantly talks about how great the bank is doing but the employees are still struggling.
From conversations with many other employees, a large percentage of employees, including myself, feel undervalued and find is hard to afford to live in New Jersey anymore. They feel that they're pay is not sufficient compared to the cost of living in New Jersey.
