Pluspunten
- the individual contributors care greatly about the mission and are talented at their craft - fairly good benefits
Minpunten
- high turnover: - rare for anyone to stay more than a year - less than stable job security (lots of abrupt departures) - culture of blame and shame heavily contributes to turnover - product priorities are constantly changing making it difficult to get any meaningful work done/out the door - lots of inter-department conflict - no transparency from leadership which is concerning given how small the company is - any feedback that is shared is not listened to and often met with defensiveness from leadership - company is more concerned with image than actually addressing any issues - seems that every two weeks something big and eventful happens: - 3 different names in a year - high level departures - customer churn - new product direction - bad PR both internal and external - the diversity of the company is concentrated in HR and outward-facing roles, typical of most tech companies. diversity in engineering is typical, if not worse than average - if you are part of an underrepresented group in tech, expect to teach others instead of the company hiring outside groups to conduct regular, up-to-date trainings - be wary of the recent positive reviews - the fact several positive reviews all from current employees were posted in such a short time indicates the company may have influenced making the reviews
