That alone makes the job feel different from most places I've recruited for. Leadership is genuinely involved in candidate conversations (co-founders included), which makes closing top talent much easier than at bigger companies where exec time is rationed. Tooling is solid (Ashby + built-in dashboards), the bar for talent is high without being precious about it, and the hybrid model (Tues–Thurs in office) hits the right balance. Thursday all-hands with the CEO weather report on metrics is a nice ritual — you actually know how the business is doing. The product is in a category that's moving fast and it's energizing to recruit for something people are excited to hear about.

The pace is a feature and a bug, if you need long ramp time or heavy process scaffolding, this won't be it. You're building the function while running it. Also, demand from hiring managers is high enough that prioritization is a constant exercise.
