Verizon Wireless has some great things to offer. The share the wealth philosophy helps to drive performance and there is a real focus on being the best. With that, we don't just represent a service that we don't believe in. Most of us are bought into the products and services that the company offers because we know them to be the best.
Minpunten
The competence of lower level management at times is disappointing. Human resources drags their feet at times on job postings and lately positions have become few and far between. This is blamed in part to the acquisition of Alltel. The company had to integrate people from the Alltel company into Verizon Wireless, and economic conditions put pressure on some of our positions. With that, the company had to re-evaluate some of the support positions that did not have a direct link to profitability, but overall, great place to be.
