Pluspunten
Passing an interview it's easy. Most of their HR guys have no idea what they are doing, the exam system can be easily cheated and .. yes some of the tech guys you're going to have your interview with are very poorly trained. You get a decent pay because you don't have to pay too many taxes except US who have to fill in the W2 form. Everything goes through oDesk or eLance so you will get ~85-90% from the total pay. It's mostly work from home if you like that. You get access to a lot of technologies w/o having to get through too many approvals.
Minpunten
Where do I start? Be prepared to be fired at any time w/o any prior notification. There is no concept of team-work or team build or good relations between the members of the same or different departments. The ones that create such relations are being investigated then, most of the cases, fired. Most of the non-management personnel has very bad English, poor internet connections. I once had an interview with them, I had no idea what the guy was asking. Management has no idea what they are doing, most of them are retired seniors bearers of the 90's corporate gene and they go by misinterpreting customer feedback and strictly respecting some poorly designed processes. Most of all they get easily offended if you go technical. Even the CEOs have their hands tied. Most of them are managing multiple companies inside the organization thus if you get to have a conversation with one of them you should consider yourself lucky. They will ask for their money back, if you do not comply with a certain set of silly rules. Another reason to get fired. You will get NO benefits or compensation, except for overtime if the management approves, not even a paid vacation.
