Minpunten
Found the company 'ok' but that was all. Customers believe Waitrose is 'the' premium supermarket but behind the scenes it was chaotic. The amount of waste was eye watering and a desire to recycle was missing. Vans were persistently faulty, be that down to refrigeration issues or engine issues. Due to this drops from one route were then split between other drivers with you having to try and cover more drops within timed hour periods than were practical - management wanting you to drive until you had finished all drops, even if this meant finishing past your hours. Handsets providing routes had the basic software version, often you were left with it saying you had arrived at the delivery address but could be in the middle of nowhere and you having to call a customer and hoping they would answer so you could deliver the drop. The PPE equipment such as reflective 'waterproof' coat was a joke - it leaked through every seam. Boots often failed with splitting so you ended up buying your own. The company did not want you joining a union and they didn't recognise them. Line managers keen to throw people under the bus to further their careers. Poor pay. Failing building infrastructure - A gutter that leaked so badly rainwater poured onto you as you tried to load your vehicle. This was an older building whereby there were no flat surfaces to load and no covered area so you were open to the elements. Store manager was ineffective.
