Pluspunten

Flexibility to work from home is good. Renumeration is satisfactory. Workplace Experience team make an effort to make employees feel valued.

Minpunten

If you are thinking about working here, I would strongly urge you to reconsider.  Working at Welltech has been a truly awful experience, which I am grateful to have escaped. Lack of training and development, toxic blame-culture and blatant cases of discrimination barely scratches the surface when it comes to the Human Resources failures of this organisation. Unfortunately, these issues are so embedded that management constantly pulls apart the pieces of the jigsaw and rearranges them in an attempt to fix it. What they fail to realise is that the individual pieces are actually broken and the person attempting to put them together is the one who has broken them. This has resulted in enormously high attrition of specialists, while their ill-equipped and incompetent superiors continue to receive promotions and get away with violations to company values and, in some cases, breaches of HR law. People who challenge the status quo mysteriously leave the business under suspicious circumstances, cases of discrimination go ignored by management and HR, and other people are hired and promoted due to gut-feelings rather than any kind of performance metrics. This is compounded by certain teams being treated like appendages, as opposed to integral parts of the wider department. I have never felt so mentally, physically and emotionally drained by an organisation in my entire career, which is ironic considering this is a business selling wellness products. Welltech has a lot of work to do to improve inclusivity, staff wellbeing, staff development and performance - this should start by looking at those in leadership roles, they are the cause of these systemic failures - not the revolving-door of specialists.

Pluspunten

Some of the employees are friendly, good team players and good professionals. Some others well not as good.

Minpunten

C level executives lack (or let's say lacked) strategic direction and there is no transparency. No long term strategies, poor communication from their side and limited openness toward employees. Decisions feel reactive instead of what it would feel if there was actually a plan and there is little alignment or clarity around the company’s future vision. If your director or head of department doesn't like you, well good luck! No matter how effective your work is, if you bring in results they will also put first their favorites. There is a mix of responsibilities, no clear structure with the result of cross functional collaboration being too difficult as 2 and more people will do the same work or none will do anything.

Pluspunten

No pros now Company used to be good with good policies but new management has made company worst

Minpunten

I want to share my experience as a cautionary note for anyone — particularly those on work visas or relocating internationally — who may be considering joining this company. I was living and working in a third country on a work visa with my family when I received an offer from Welltech. Given that the Cyprus visa process is complex for non-European nationals, they offered a 4-month contract prior to relocation. Acting in good faith, I resigned from my current position, initiated the relocation process, notified the immigration office in my current country, and booked non-refundable flight tickets for my family to travel to our home country as required by the Cyprus visa process (which mandates the primary applicant travel first before family visas are issued). Shortly after, I was informed that my contract was being terminated with one month's notice as per the agreement. The fallout was immediate and serious. The flight tickets were non-refundable. I had to return to the immigration office to reverse my departure notice. I had no job, was in a third country on a visa, and had a family depending on me. I was fortunate that I had maintained a strong relationship with my former employer, who agreed to take me back — but that is not a safety net most people can count on. A one-month notice period may be legally sufficient, but it does not account for the real-world consequences of a mid-relocation termination. Resigning, filing with immigration, and booking international travel are not decisions that can be easily undone. If you are considering this company and are in a similar situation — on a visa, relocating with family, or leaving a stable role — I strongly urge you to think carefully and ensure you have contractual protections in place before making any irreversible commitments.
