Pluspunten
-The office culture is steadily progressing across all departments. Senior management works hard to instill a person-first workplace. The culture on my team in particular was supportive, creative and energized.
-Pay is pretty good for a nonprofit and there are opportunities to move up in most departments eventually or to a different department
-From the CEO and COO to HR Director and QM, everyone was supportive and accessible no matter what level you were on.
-The mission of my department meant a lot to me. I learned a lot in my role and was also given freedom to innovate.
-The people working here are good people.
Minpunten
-The union can be a bit mysterious at times. It doesn't interfere with your day to day, but it was kind of a confusing presence on the back of my mind at times, perhaps due to communication/messaging issues.
-You do clock in and out—some people are skeptical at first about that. It's really not a big deal once you get used to it and they are flexible as long as you communicate.
