Horrible culture role modelled from the top. Exco team that doesn’t understand how to manage and engage people, leading to lots of top down decision making, micro management and not allowing accountability. They do not listen to or care about their own talent. Exco team is not approachable with CEO who can never be bothered to even reply to a simple Hi!
Everything that the company does is so reactive and decisions from the top just change faster than the English weather! They say they are fast paced company, however, the opposite is true as due to constant changes in decisions, no projects get ever completed, therefore, there is no sense of accomplishment.
Due to extremely high turnover (literally everyone is trying to leave), the company has been hiring a lot to try to grow plus replace those who leave. There is never any focus on fixing ‘why’ people are leaving, there is no budget for developing and engaging people and this is always considered as the last point on the agenda. It is not something that the company sees as crucial to have, rather as nice to have. The company says they are a customer focused business and their customers are priority. This is hardly true as disengaged, burnt out and unhappy employees won’t be able to provide the best for their customers.
No surprise that with the way the company is going they are not doing well and instead of growing are downsizing through redundancies.
