Minpunten
Many. Since the institution was taken over by "local management" in 2013 it has deteriorated beyond belief. Prior to the handover it was run just like any American university, but sine then I have never seen an academic institution decline so precipitously--in educational content, quality of students, and goals. Prior to 2013 it was on its way to becoming a "respectable" university, but now it is little than a vocational training organization, aiming simply to get the "locals" into jobs in private industries, since there just not enough government jobs for them all. It no longer deserves the name "university." It has even lowered its academic standards to pass off their graduates as "educated" and employable with real professional skills to private employers. Also, I believe that after the Arab spring of 2015 the country became spooked by the revolution in neighboring and realizes that REAL education was NOT a good thing--best to keep their your as "loyal patriots serving the nation." Again, I've never seen an educational institution deteriorate so quickly.
