In certain departments there is no opportunity to move up in any way because of the size of the company. Personally, I didn't feel the need, but just something to consider.

The workplace was fun, energetic, and operates efficiently—things get done quickly. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and develop, with the freedom to try different things. However, it’s unclear if this is truly valued or simply taken for granted. While I appreciated the chance to grow, in the end, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being used rather than genuinely valued.

Lack of Progress in Basic Operations: Despite being a startup that should have moved forward by now, it still struggles with fundamental aspects that should already be well-developed—especially on the administrative side. Basic company needs, like structured HR processes, are underdeveloped, and no one seems to prioritize them. Lack of True Employee Value: While employees do receive praise, it rarely translates into meaningful benefits. If any perks are added, they tend to be minor. Some people (likely those with "approach") get significantly better deals, while others have to push hard to receive even small extras. Hard work and dedication are acknowledged with words rather than real actions. This is a major downside. Career Growth Considerations: • If you’re a beginner, it can be a good place to start, but it’s best not toget stuck there. • If you’re at a mid-career level, be cautious—the workload is quite extensive, yet not truly valued (salaries aren’t great, and options + other benefits aren’t competitive). • If you’re joining at a senior level, you may be able to negotiate a solid deal. Hypocrisy in Mission: This is a climate tech company, yet its own practices don’t align with sustainability. Excessive flying, no waste sorting, and no real commitment to reducing its own footprint make it feel more like a business focused on profit rather than truly making a difference. While a few people genuinely want to improve the world, they are really in the minority.
