eVestment is in a fascinating space that allows you to have one foot in the cloud-based software world and one in institutional investments. The self-starting environment allows employees to have autonomy and be as ambitious as one would like to take on new responsibilities. The company has a very active spirit from the top down and a healthy work/life balance is encouraged. The London office is located in a nice building in the city, near Fenchurch station and Monument. We have access to a fully stocked kitchen complete with a nespresso machine and Foosball table. Although eVestment as a whole feels like a tight knit group of friends, the London office is even close as it is smaller in numbers. We often grab drinks after work together, attend team outings (paintball, rugby game, scavenger hunt) or have a friendly foosball tourney.

Minpunten

The company is great and experiences any issues any other fast growing company may experience, however is constantly re-evaluating and asking of its processes " is the way we did things yesterday still the way we should operate today?"

nice office space, private gym for employees, mostly good culture that allows for bleeding edge tech and pushes big ideas and ownership as part of the culture. Lots of promoting from within occurs.

Minpunten

There has been a lot of turn over in recent years as leadership changed hands. There is a lot more red tape than there used to be on the technology side. Salary wont stay competitive with new hires coming in. Expect people several years your junior to make more than you, you will get a song and dance about how they can't fix that problem without a promotion. Even though you are likely already doing the job the promotion would require.
