Great managers, Always helpful and supportive. They encourage proactiveness, which is a good trait to have in this field. They listen and encourage you to take initiative. And they know how to have fun as well.

Management & Communication Communication between departments is inconsistent, and important feedback often doesn’t feel acted on Decision-making can be unclear, with limited transparency around priorities There is a noticeable gap between how the company presents itself and how issues are handled day-to-day Sales & Customer Delivery Customers are sometimes supplied with incorrect or mismatched equipment compared to what was originally quoted Poor coordination between sales, engineering, and project teams leads to missed expectations and avoidable delivery issues Site planning and visits are often poorly organised Operational Process & Organisation A lot of work is reactive, with constant firefighting instead of proper planning Documentation is often missing or out of date, including network diagrams and site information, which makes troubleshooting unnecessarily difficult There is little consistency in how environments are managed across customers and sites Technical Environment & Infrastructure Security practices feel inconsistent and underdeveloped in several areas Some environments rely on basic or incomplete email security setups, with limited filtering and preventative controls in place Backup solutions are not always robust or aligned with modern best practice, and disaster recovery planning is often unclear or missing Microsoft 365 configurations vary widely, and in some cases lack proper security hardening or standardisation There is often no reliable source of truth for network topology or site infrastructure, which increases operational risk Training & Development Training and development opportunities are limited beyond onboarding Access to learning platforms has been reduced, making it harder to upskill Progression often feels informal rather than based on a clear development structure Workload, Pay & Administration Workload can be heavy, with frequent overtime expected to keep up with customer issues Overtime and extra effort are not always consistently recognised or rewarded Expenses and administrative processes can be slow or inconsistent Culture & Morale The company presents itself as employee-focused, but in practice concerns raised by staff are not always addressed Some employees feel feedback is dismissed unless it aligns with management priorities There is a perception that staffing decisions are not always transparent, which has affected trust and morale In some cases, experienced staff have left under unclear circumstances, which has contributed to instability within teams, not enough staff to cover the extra work load Inexperienced staff are promoted to positions which they are incapable of Certain charges for basic services feel disproportionate and add to frustration around how customers are treated

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for recognising some of the positive aspects of working at eduthing, particularly the people, office environment, and team culture. We appreciate all feedback and recognise that there are areas where we can continue to improve, particularly around communication, processes, and consistency as the business grows. That said, I would challenge a couple of the points raised. All employees receive five paid training days each year, along with access to an industry-leading online learning platform and ongoing mentoring opportunities from experienced colleagues and leaders across the business. We also actively encourage feedback through regular anonymous staff surveys and direct conversations with managers and the leadership team. While we may not agree with every point raised, we take feedback seriously and remain committed to improving both the employee and customer experience.
