Since I've started at iTMethods, I have had a very positive experience. Within the first month of being here, I was given a lot of responsibility, and the more I was able to demonstrate my expertise, the more responsibility I was given- which is a common theme for new hires. The work is really stimulating and challenges you to problem solve in different ways- which makes my work that much more fulfilling. And we work with AWS & Atlassian, two tech powerhouses, which keeps things very exciting. The people here are awesome. They're all super smart, nice, and have a great sense of humour. We also have a ton of team events, lunches, and have frequent ping pong games, which helps to facilitate more of a team environment. As someone who thrives off of an inclusive and fun corporate culture- I am really pleased with all of our team initiatives.

Minpunten

Some business processes are going to have to improve to accommodate for growth- of clients and of employees. I think management has a good vision for this, but it will definitely need attention.

The technology stack at IT Methods is fascinating and offers plenty of learning opportunities. Compensation is fair, and there’s potential for growth—at least on paper. If you’re seeking hands-on tech exposure and can handle the pressure, it might be worth a shot—but be prepared for a culture that prioritizes control over trust.

- Leadership’s distrust and paranoia about employees actually doing work creates a tense atmosphere. - Every minute must be accounted for, and the expectation of 50/60-hour weeks leads to quick burnout. - Management frequently proposes big ideas but rarely sees them through before coming up with the next big thing. - Turnover is high as people soon realize the reality doesn’t match the “dream job” presented during interviews. - Very long hiring process because management can't seem to make decisions.
