Initially described the difference between a PUT and a POST as this was fresh in my mind. I then went on to talk about when you would use GET, HEAD, PATCH. Unfortunately, I left out DELETE, CONNECT, OPTIONS, TRACE, but the interview seemed like he was ready to move to the next question.
