I had a phone interview scheduled. It was scheduled for 30-40 mins (specified via email). One hour and twenty minutes into the call my phone was muted, I had been asked a total of 3 questions, I was simply listening to the hiring manager do a mock sales pitch with themself. I thought this was extremely unprofessional to disregard my time like this. I do feel bad because they seemed like a genuinely nice person. But for an initial phone screen it was way too long, preachy, and unprofessional.
