🚑“From a young age, medical treatment has always intrigued me. As I grew older, I considered becoming a nurse, but in the end I didn't, and I regretted it. Five years ago, I decided to join some colleagues for an emergency medical technician course at United Hatzalah (an Israeli volunteer-run emergency medical organization). 🩺Following a year of theoretical and practical training, I became a volunteer at the Meir Hospital adult emergency department. It was intense, interesting and meaningful, but also challenging. I found it difficult to witness grown people going through the most difficult times in their lives. When the opportunity arose to volunteer in the children's emergency department, I took it. ❤️Usually, people come to hospitals because of unpleasant circumstances. Sometimes, they go through their hardest times there. Being with them during this time is not something I can take for granted, and I am grateful that the medical teams, patients and their families trust me. This is an intense type of volunteering that requires sensitivity and skills. It is not suitable for everyone. You must be able to give yourself. Giving is a wonderful feeling and hard to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it. Those who are capable of it will ultimately find great meaning in it.”
We wish our colleagues, friends and customers who are celebrating Holi a happy, colorful and blessed holiday. Enjoy the colors and spread the joy!

👯Sisterhood can be established through remote connections. It can even be fostered in formal settings, like onboarding in a new job! Two years ago, Daniela Carolo joined Cognyte as a Customer Success Manager. Daniela lives in Madrid, Spain, and her job assignment and onboarding process was conducted remotely by Olga Chrysostomou from Cognyte Cyprus. At the time, Olga was a People Business Partner employees in Europe where there were no formal offices, and her role was to help Daniela find her way around Cognyte. The encounter became more than that, as Olga says she was immediately struck by Daniela's radiance✨. As it turns out, Olga and Daniela have a lot in common: a similar outlook on life, a preferred hair style, even an affinity for red lipstick!🖤💄 They found common ground in their work ethic, attention to detail, personality traits and things that make both of them happy. You could almost hear the "click" coming from somewhere between Madrid and Limassol. It didn't take long for the strong remote connection to extend beyond the work context. These two peers quickly became friends, sharing personal and professional confidences, and feeling the strong connection👭. Even after Olga's role changed, their relationship endures as a beautiful and authentic sisterhood. They look forward to meeting in person one day – perhaps even on a summer vacation!
