Our Business Analysts play a crucial role in helping Currys work smarter and faster. A key part of that is Process Intelligence: seeing how our teams actually work, not just how processes are meant to work. And using real data to highlight opportunities for change. The team recently got together with Celonis for a Process Intelligence Day, to share ideas and stay ahead of the curve. “It’s great to see how Process Intelligence complements AI to drive real value." says Senior Business Analyst Mayaan (far left of photo). "It plays a critical role in building more adaptive and intelligent operations.” It’s been eye-opening to see how other industries are using AI and data to fix inefficiencies," fellow Analyst Serge (second from right) adds, "and how we can apply those learnings at Currys.” AI is moving fast, and our Business Analyst team is already putting it to work for the benefit of both colleagues and customers. Congratulations to Suha, who was recognised for her inspirational leadership of the Embrace Network at the CCO Excellence Awards, held at the iconic IMAX Waterloo. "This was absolutely a team win," Suha says, "so congrats and thank you to my co-chair Ian and to the EPIC ⭐️ Embrace committee Sobia, Kim, Gary, Rianna, Dunni, Ainsley, Lewis, Sheena, Yasmeen, Nikki, Samantha, Robert, Sam and Steve." This award recognises the collective energy, commitment and care that powers Embrace, one of the incredible colleague-led ERGs that champions diversity and equity across Currys. And a proud moment for Suha!
Our hybrid-working Strategic Change and Tech, Data & Transformation teams recently swapped remote connection for a real-life team takeover at our Waterloo Campus. 🤝 The day featured A Whole Brain Thinking workshop and a marshmallow-and-spaghetti tower building, plus a few competitive rounds of Pétanque! “It’s amazing what simply connecting in person can do to improve your mindset and outlook.” Keith, our Strategic Change and Portfolio Programme Manager, who took this photo, shared this. Working in a hybrid way has so many benefits, but there’s still something special about coming together.
Curious about what a career in Supply Chain really looks like? Nhi is one of our current Supply Chain Graduates. Over the last year, she’s rotated through teams across the business, seeing how our colleagues work together to solve problems, reduce damage and make sure customers get their tech in perfect condition. 💬 “Building a strong team always starts with people engagement,” she says. From day one, our Supply Chain graduates gain experience, develop leadership skills and join teams where ownership and collaboration go hand in hand.

A recent Currys Business networking session at the Village Hotel in Solihull got our colleagues out of store and meeting local organisations doing brilliant work, from supporting neurodivergent individuals to helping people into meaningful employment. "We had the privilege of meeting, and helping, some truly inspiring people who are making a real impact, supporting those with autism and ADHD who may be struggling to find work," says Hashim K, Business Development Manager. Alongside the community conversations, the team also spoke with local businesses about the upcoming transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 – a key topic for anyone planning ahead in tech for business. It was great to get to know local companies better and help them with their tech needs. Our colleagues had a fantastic day of ideas, insight and connection and kicked off some important new community relationships. And now we all know what Santa does the other 11 months of the year...
What happens when the EFL trophies drop into your store? The team at our Leeds Birstall store got a photo op to remember with the EFL Championship, League 1 and League 2 trophies – all thanks to our brilliant partnership with Sky. 🏆 Customers loved it. Colleagues loved taking a minute away from the day to pose with their team. 📸 A bit of footie magic and expert tips from Jamie on the Sky team = a pretty great day all round.
Huge congratulations to Adele and the Currys Blackpool team on their Retail Week Awards nomination for outstanding community impact! 🎉 Over the last year, the Blackpool team has made a massive difference where it matters most – by supporting their local community. They raised well over £7,000 for Trinity Hospice, Blackpool, with colleagues undertaking running challenges, bake offs, psychic nights and sports tournaments. And, if that wasn’t impressive enough, they also took on a nine-hour YMCA dance marathon! Alongside this, they’ve helped raise funds for the Digital Poverty Alliance, making a real difference in more ways than one. Nominations like this shine a light on the dedication, passion and teamwork that make our colleagues so special. Very well done to the Blackpool team, pictured with their certificate for Trinity Hospice!
Amar’s been with the business for nearly 26 years, but one moment will always stay with him. 📺 An elderly customer came into the Castle Vale store, looking for some help with his TV, which wasn't working properly. His partner had recently passed, and the TV helped his home feel less silent. 🌙 “He was quite upset and emotional when he came in,” Amar recalls. “So after work, I went to his house and tuned it all in for him. He was over the moon.” ✨ A few days later, the man’s daughters returned to the store, touched by Amar’s kindness. For Amar, it’s moments like these that make his job so rewarding. "If your passion is helping people and you like technology, this is a brilliant place to work." A true example of going the extra mile. Cheers, Amar! 🟣 #LifeAtCurrys #RetailCareers #CustomersFirst
