For those who could not participate in person, participated in the Online Quiz or dressing up in the hues of the tri color with their team members and sharing their pictures with us. Mr. Kothiala was joined by industry experts from the industry & SRM University's Leadership team. The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss the future plans and to find out ways in achieving them successfully, especially in the area of Skilling, Training and Placements. Mr. Kothiala emphasised that students and teachers should focus on understanding the concepts, get to the bottom of concepts and study not only from the perspective of scoring marks in the exams. They should try to understand the logic & rationale behind each concept. He reiterated that, “Learning is a continuous process with a focus on concept clarity rather than rote. It is imperative upon the academia for the students to be introduced to the various facets of the IT industry, early on in their academic journey. This would help them in identifying the pros & cons of each IT function and therefore aid them in making informed decision to choose a career in the field where they find their calling.”.
