On September 2nd, senior figures from the UK Civil Aviation Authority visited our Manchester Hangar to witness Jet2.com’s Sustainability Strategy in action ✈️ We welcomed Rob Bishton (CEO), Selina Chadha (Group Director for Consumers & Markets), and Reiner Krammer (Head of Corporate Finance & Risk), to discuss a number of important issues, including sustainability and the proactive steps that we have taken to address our climate impact. Highlights include our investment in 146 Airbus A321 NEO aircraft, which are around 20% more fuel efficient than our older aircraft, as well as in a SAF production plant to be constructed in the UK. We also showcased some of our all-electric crew buses and ground handling equipment.
